Summary of the subject: The concept of hierarchical network design; Scalable network; Scale-free network design; Redundancy access networks; Methods for connecting LAN; Merge WAN; Ensuring broadband access; The protocols of modern networks; Monitoring networks.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports of practical work, oral examination (40%);
• control examination (60% control measure, exam), writing (50%), oral form (10%).

• Master the method of calculating the media of the access gateway;
• Master the method of calculation software switch;
• Master the method of calculating vehicle switch.
