Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is the engineering training of students in an amount sufficient for production, practical and research activities in the field of design and operation of radio engineering devices and systems.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competencies: Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. Ability to plan and manage time. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. Ability to work in a team. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. Ability to identify, pose and solve problems. Ability to system thinking. professional competences: The ability to solve standard tasks of professional activity on the basis of information and bibliographic culture with the use of information and communication technologies and taking into account the basic requirements of information security. Ability to use basic methods, methods and means of obtaining, transmitting, processing and storing information. Ability to perform computer modeling of devices, systems and processes using universal application program packages. The ability to carry out instrumental measurements in information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented specialties in the field of radio electronic circuits and circuit engineering, electromagnetic field theory, radio electronic systems theory, telecommunication network theory, automatic control theory, methods of analysis of radio electronic and telecommunication systems and networks, design and production processes, hardware and software programming systems, administration of information networks, information protection, information technologies. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs and the latest technologies in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering. Application of understanding the main properties of the component base to ensure the quality and reliability of the functioning of telecommunications, radio engineering systems and devices. Competently use the terminology of the field of telecommunications and radio engineering. Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions.

Required prior and related subjects: -Previous subjects: Fundamentals of the theory of broadcasting and television, the fundamentals of circuitry. -Related and the following subjects: digital methods of realization of radio communication systems and tv, microcontrollers.
Summary of the subject: The result of the module students should know: • The basic idea of the structure, principles of action and optimal methods of receiving and processing of analog and digital signals; • The basic idea of the principles of construction, structure and main characteristics of the PARP multi-purpose; • The basic idea of the methods of analysis, synthesis and simulation nodes of the systems of reception of radio signals.
Опис: In the process of teaching the subject addresses the basic methods of acceptance, conversion and selection of information in the process of receiving and processing the signals with an analog and digital modulation; ways to select the desired band information signal; methods of transfer of spectrum signal; detection of signals from various types of analog, pulse and digital modulation; study of influence of radio interference and methods of action passed the signal, the study of methods for optimum reception of radio signals.
Assessment methods and criteria: lectures, laboratory occupations, independent work
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • Current control (15%); • Verbal questioning, preparation of reports on the laboratory works (15%); • Final control (70 %, set-off written-oral form).
