Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching this discipline is to teach students to understand the principles of operation and use methods of calculating devices for generating, amplifying and controlling the parameters of harmonic oscillations of various frequency ranges.

The ability to understand the essence and significance of information in the development of the modern information society. FC-2. The ability to solve standard tasks of professional activity on the basis of information and bibliographic culture with the use of information and communication technologies and taking into account the basic requirements of information security. FK-Z. Ability to use basic methods, methods and means of obtaining, transmitting, processing and storing information. FK-4. Ability to perform computer modeling of devices, systems and processes using universal application program packages. FC-6. The ability to carry out instrumental measurements in information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: - to adapt to changing technologies of information and communication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems; - the ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented disciplines in the field of radio electronic circuits and circuit engineering, electromagnetic field theory, radio electronic systems theory, telecommunication network theory, automatic control theory, methods of analysis of radio electronic and telecommunication systems and networks, design and production processes, software programming hardware systems, administration of information networks, information protection, information technologies; - application of the understanding of the main properties of the component base to ensure the quality and reliability of the functioning of telecommunications, radio engineering systems and devices; - competently apply the terminology of the field of telecommunications and radio engineering; - the ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions. Teaching and learning methods: - lectures, practical and laboratory classes - information-receptive method, reproductive method, heuristic method, problem presentation method, independent work - reproductive method, research method. Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: - current control - implementation and protection of practical and reports on laboratory work, oral and face-to-face interviews; - test control of thematic modules (blocks); - examination control. The exam is a written survey.

Summary of the subject: The theory of operation, principles of power amplifiers and RF frequency multipliers circuits and microwave oscillations; basic principles of matching circuits and filtering circuits and building power adder. Theory and circuitry oscilators and frequency synthesizers RF and microwave ranges. Methods and devices forming radio or optical signals with analog and digital modulation types. Application shapers of radio signals in modern communication and electronic systems for various purposes.
Опис: The lecture course contains 14 topics that cover issues of the theory of operation and hardware implementation of devices for amplifying, multiplying and generating HF and SHF oscillations, issues of generating analog and digital modulation signals, as well as issues of their application in modern radio technologies. 1. Purpose, application and main characteristics of devices for generating and forming radio signals. 2. Basics of the theory of GZZ with inertialess AEs. 3. Peculiarities of operation of the transistor GZZ in the area of ??medium and high frequencies. 4. Matching and filtering methods in narrow-band and wide-band GZZs. 5. Methods of increasing the energy efficiency of HF power amplifiers. 6. Basic principles of construction of PP HF and UHF range schemes. 7. Methods of multiplying the frequency of HF and HF oscillations. 8. Fundamentals of autogenerator theory (AG). 9. Methods of increasing the stability of the frequency of oscillations of the HF high frequency. 10. Methods of generating oscillations and implementation of AG microwaves. 11. Methods of band-quartz frequency stabilization. 12. Methods of analog modulation. 13. Methods of forming signals with digital modulation. 14. Methods of signal formation in modern radio technologies.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control - implementation and protection of practical and reports on laboratory work, oral and face-to-face interviews; - test control of thematic modules (blocks); - examination control: full testing and an oral component.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • current control (40 %): laboratory work (15 %), tests (5 %), practical tasks (10 %). • competitive monitoring (60 %, written-oral form).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) is given for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
