Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the specialist must have the basic techniques of interior design of residential and public buildings; to understand the logic of constructing compositions of historical and modern styles, as well as to be acquainted with the most current trends in the design of the architectural environment; design solutions to meet the requirements of modern man to the comfort and safety of premises; to be guided in types, standard sizes of furniture and devices of engineering equipment; make comprehensive and sound design decisions. The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: • Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. • Ability to identify, pose and solve problems • Possession of a culture of thinking, the ability to generalize, analyze, perceive information, set goals and choose ways to achieve it; • Ability to logically correctly, reasonably and clearly communicate (orally and in writing) in the state language and speak at least one of the common European languages at the level of reading and understanding scientific and technical literature, communication in oral and written forms. professional: Basic knowledge in the field of architecture and urban planning, necessary for the development of professionally-oriented disciplines; • Awareness of the theoretical and methodological foundations of architectural design of buildings and structures, urban, architectural, environmental and landscape objects. • Ability to develop architectural, artistic, functional, spatial planning and design solutions, as well as to make drawings, prepare documentation for architectural and urban projects.

Summary of the subject: The aim of the discipline "Architectural interior design (course project)" is to master the principles of creative search for the idea of organizing the interior space according to modern trends in interior design, in accordance with the general concept of the architectural object. The main tasks of finding a visible image and the basic model of organization of spatial planning solutions are: - sketches of the architectural idea of the interior of the design object: option 1, option 2; - compilation of the list of the main functional zones, the list of premises, their parameters and normals; - determination of places, quantity and types of vertical communications, arrangement of the main stairwells and elevators, placement of non-smoking evacuation stairs and exits; - selection of constructive-planning scheme, constructions of walls and ceilings, modules and spans of main and auxiliary functional blocks, development of schemes of sections; - elaboration of image-compositional and color model of interior, perspective or 3D images. The result of interior design is graphic sketches, project drawings of the interiors of the architectural object made by optimal computer means, conveying the color and texture properties of finishing materials, furniture, equipment.
Assessment methods and criteria: The grade for the subject is established based on the results of the graphic performance of the album with project searches
