Learning outcomes: 1. Determine the difference between modern and historical architecture 2. To formulate the basic values ??of modernism as a basic concept of architecture of the twentieth century. 3. Understanding the impact of industrial forms of production on the category of value in architecture. 4. Understand the causes of the crisis of modernism and the prerequisites for the formation of postmodern aesthetics. 5. Identify styles of modern architecture that do not belong to classical modernism, but use the worldview of abstract art. 6. Identify the main directions and trends of world architecture in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Summary of the subject: The aim of the course "History of Modern Architecture" is to acquaint students in lectures with the historical development of architecture in the second half of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with the work of architects who entered the history of architecture of the 20th century. The task of studying the discipline "History of Modern Architecture" is the formation of professional intelligence in students, creating a foundation of theoretical knowledge for their further implementation in future architectural work.
