Завдання: Integral competence is the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of fine arts, decorative arts, restoration of works of art or in the learning process, which involves the application of certain theories, provisions and methods and the possession of skills necessary to solve the tasks of the specialty. General competences: - the ability to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values ??of civil society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen in Ukraine; - the ability to communicate in a foreign language; – the ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; - ability to apply knowledge in practical situations; - skills in using information and communication technologies; – the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; – здатність генерувати нові ідеї (креативність); – навички міжособистісної взаємодії; – здатність оцінювати та забезпечувати якість виконуваних робіт. Professional competences of a professional direction: - the ability to master the basic classical and modern methods of stone sculpture restoration; - the ability to professionally carry out design and restoration works; - the ability to use special plastic tools; - the ability to master the basic classical and modern methods of restoration of building decor; - the ability to professionally carry out design and restoration work with the decoration of buildings; - the ability to use special plastic materials for the decoration of buildings.
Learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge of the basics of theory in the field of protection and restoration of cultural heritage 2. Knowledge of methods of analysis and processing of information from various sources 3. Knowledge of the stages of research of a work of art, the content and order of their use 4. Knowledge of the content of design and report documentation on the restoration of a work of art 5. To carry out chemical and technological studies of works of art 6. Be able to practically carry out the restoration of works of art, and critically evaluate the results of activities and defend the decisions made with arguments 7. The ability to conduct an examination of a work of art and develop recommendations for further preservation of the monument 8. The ability to work on an object as part of a group 9. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge 10. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Special chemistry" is a discipline of specialization 023 Fine art, decorative art, restoration. The discipline provides knowledge about the basic laws of chemistry and the main classes of chemical compounds; solutions, their characteristics and ways of expressing the composition of the solution; chemical and technological processes and materials for restoration works; studies problems of durability and means of protecting natural stone materials from corrosion. The study of the discipline takes place through the sequential presentation of a theoretical course and conducting laboratory classes.
Опис: Basic concepts of chemistry. Classification of substances. Basic laws of chemistry. The composition of materials and methods of its presentation. Types of chemical bonds. The main classes of inorganic compounds. Chemical reagents. Solutions, characteristics of solutions and ways of expressing their composition. Electrolytic dissociation. Hydrolysis of salts. Redox reactions. Classification of operating environments. Characteristics of gaseous, liquid, solid aggressive media. Durability problems and protection of stone materials from corrosion. Classification of facing stone by durability. Structural and physico-chemical means of protection of natural stone materials from corrosion. Choice of chemical-technological processes and materials for restoration works. Polymers in restoration: synthetic and natural.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current and settlement control. Knowledge assessment methods: performance and defense of laboratory work, oral and written examination, test control.
