Опис: The discipline "Historical techniques and technologies of stone processing" is based on the consistent assimilation of material on the history of stone processing, during the epochs of human development from primitive tribal associations to increasingly advanced civilizations. During the Stone Age, primitive communities worked stone in a specific way and used it as a tool for hunting, processing food, making fires, making magical images, building primitive parking lots for living, etc., according to archaeological research. With the development of civilizations, methods of extraction, transportation and processing of stone for the construction of monumental architecture, as well as sculpture (Egypt, Assyria, Antiquity, the Roman Empire) were mastered. Masonry in the Middle Ages and the New Age is engaged in collective organizations that use more and more sophisticated tools, invent new techniques and technologies in stone processing for the needs of architecture and sculpture. The study of the discipline is a series of lectures and practical classes. Practical tasks are performed in the auditorium, as well as at architectural heritage sites located in the center of Lviv, and are developed independently by the student using the available facilities of the department and specialized laboratories, as well as on the personal computer device (PC). During the practical tasks, visual analysis, sketches, measurement of objects selected according to the task using traditional (ruler, tape measure, etc.) tools and modern technical means (digital camera, laser tape measure, laser level). Drawings are made in the environment of AutoCAD (student version). The work is executed according to the established sample, submitted in printed form (A4 format) and in digital form.
