Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Professional and civil safety", which is studied in higher educational institutions with the aim of forming in future OKR "master's" specialists, knowledge about the dangers that accompany work with information technologies and electronic devices, as well as methods and means of ensuring harmless conditions of the production environment and labor process in the industry. The study of the discipline contributes to the formation of an active position in students regarding the practical implementation of the principle of prioritizing the protection of life and health of workers in relation to the results of production activities. The discipline combines the system of knowledge and skills on occupational safety (OP) during work on economic facilities and civil protection measures (CZ) during the design and operation of engineering and transport facilities. The discipline is designed to form knowledge, skills and abilities in future specialists regarding the functioning of the system, the state and problems of labor safety, as well as the protection of objects during their operation in emergency situations of a natural and man-made nature in accordance with current legislative and other regulatory legal acts. The educational discipline "Professional and civil safety" provides for the study of issues of occupational safety and civil protection for objects in accordance with the specifics of the professional activity of future specialists. The outline of the discipline includes issues of occupational safety at enterprises in the telecommunications and radio engineering industries and safety equipment at enterprises according to specializations, as well as measures to prevent and eliminate the consequences of emergency situations at economic facilities
