Learning outcomes: The main purpose of the discipline "Examination of a monument of architecture, art and its details" is to study and master the basic principles of examination of a monument of architecture, art and its details, skills in compiling relevant documentation, descriptions of cultural values, expert opinion. As a result of studying the discipline the student must master the method of scientific research in the examination of a work of art, learn to work with analogues, learn the latest techniques and modern technologies of examination of a work of art and be able to make a scientifically sound expert opinion
Required prior and related subjects: - Prerequisite: History of Art and Architecture, Restorative Materials Science
Co-requisite: Historical techniques and technologies of processing materials of works of art
Summary of the subject: Discipline "Examination of architectural monuments, art and its details" is based on the study of the following educational blocks - "Subject and tasks of examination of artistic monuments", "Compilation of survey algorithm", "Selection and analysis of analogues", "Measurement, photofixation and description of the object of examination "," Conclusion of the act of examination on the basis of research ". In the process of learning, the student masters the basic criteria for determining the cultural value of monuments, which is established through historical and artistic examination of architectural and artistic objects. As a result of the study, the student concludes an act of examination in a standardized form on the basis of research on a particular monument.
