Characteristics of the educational program: Objects of study: patterns of functioning and transformation of the individual, social groups, communities and societies in their systemic relationship. Learning goals: training specialists who possess modern sociological thinking, theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for solving complex tasks and practical problems of sociology and human resources development. Theoretical content of the subject area: social relations and interaction; personality, social groups and communities; social phenomena and processes; social practices; social institutions; culture; social structures and inequalities; social changes and influences; social problems and conflicts in society, both at the national and global levels. Methods, techniques and technologies: methods of collecting and analyzing social information. Tools and equipment: modern information technologies (communication, search, analytical), specialized software. Orientation of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on a combination of classical heritage and modern achievements of social and humanitarian sciences, mainly sociology, in the analysis of social processes in modern society and their technological support, has a pronounced component aimed at the development of human resources, market-research and prognostic- the analytical component (participation in the organization and conduct of marketing and sociological research), the communicative component (participation in the creation of an effective communication infrastructure of organizations of various types, information support for the activities of political, managerial and market structures), the socio-political, economic and socio-informational component, orients for further professional self-education.
Програмні результати навчання: PH01. To use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other spheres of professional activity. PH02. To understand the history of the development of sociology, its modern concepts and theories, the main problems. PH03. Apply the provisions of sociological theories and concepts to the study of social changes in Ukraine and the world. PH04. To explain the patterns and peculiarities of the development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks. PH05. Communicate freely in national and foreign/foreign languages orally and in writing on professional issues. PH06. Effectively perform various roles (in particular, organizer, communicator, critic, idea generator, executor, etc.) in a team in the process of solving professional tasks. PH07. To be able to use information and communication technologies in the process of searching, collecting and analyzing sociological information. PH08. Justify one's own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on the results of research and analysis of professional literature. PH09. Be able to develop a program of sociological research. PH10. Possess the skills of collecting social information using quantitative and qualitative methods. PH11. Present the results of own research for specialists and non-specialists. PH12. Know and adhere to the ethical norms of the sociologist's professional activity.

Work placement(s): During the course of study, 7.5 ECTS credits of practical training are provided, in particular, industrial practice and practice on the subject of a bachelor's qualification work, which gives the opportunity not only to master the work methods practiced in sociological services, but also to gain experience in applying theoretical knowledge in the regulation of various kinds of social problems , in particular in the structures of state administration and civil self-government.

Can carry out professional activities in the field of human resources management (personnel management manager); business sphere (sociologist-marketer); in the field of public administration and local self-government (civil servant, employee of local self-government bodies, expert adviser in state authorities at the national, regional and local levels, expert adviser in local self-government bodies, expert on socio-political issues); in the political sphere (political analyst, political consultant, political marketer, deputy deputy, speechwriter, consultant on social and political issues (in parties and other public organizations); in the sphere of social communications (sociologist, social communications researcher, public relations specialist ), etc.

Other program features: The main focus of the educational program and specialization: Special education and professional training in the field of analysis of social processes at the micro-, meso- and macro-social levels, in particular, social communications and management of political, socioeconomic, socio-cultural processes and human resources. Professional training of specialists in the formation and support of corporate culture, development of human potential, image of organizations and leaders, planning and implementation of information and PR campaigns, specialists in ensuring internal and external communication of state, commercial, public organizations, including mass media. Features and differences: 1. Focus on the analysis of applied dimensions of human capital management in various spheres of modern society, mainly related to the development of resources in solving social problems. 2. The study of social problems in combination with possible versions of their settlement, in particular through the practice of sociological support for the development and implementation of projects in the field of public administration and local self-government, as well as through the practice of implementing communicative programs of public relations; 3. Long-term scientific and educational-methodological cooperation with well-known domestic and foreign scientific institutions and universities, including the University of Manitoba (Canada), the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, the Academy of the Naval Fleet in Gdynia, Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Pedagogy in Warsaw (Poland); 4. Provision of specialized practice bases, including the well-known sociological agency "Fama", created by graduates of the department, and the Social and Marketing Research Center SOCIS.
