Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on well-known principles and results of modern research on environmental protection technologies, atmospheric protection technologies, hydrosphere and lithosphere, environmental safety and production technologies, environmental modeling and forecasting, regulation of anthropogenic pressure on the environment and orientations. specializations within which further professional and scientific career is possible.
Програмні результати навчання: PR1. Analyze complex systems, understand their relationships and organizational structure. PR2. Fluent in state and foreign languages ??orally and in writing on professional issues, in particular to present research and innovation results. PR3. Use modern communication and computer technologies in the field of environmental protection, collect, store, process and analyze information about the state of the environment and the industrial sphere to solve problems of professional activity. PR4. Justify decisions aimed at minimizing environmental risks of economic activity at the national, regional and local levels. PR5. Effectively work in a team and an international team, have leadership skills. PR6. To analyze the socio-economic and environmental condition of enterprises, settlements, districts, regions and develop strategies for their sustainable development. PR07. Develop environmental management systems in compliance with the requirements of ISO 14004, establish procedures and plan and implement environmental measures throughout the product life cycle. PR8. Design systems for integrated waste management and environmental and economic aspects of their disposal, the basics of designing landfills for waste disposal, assess their impact on the environment and man. PR9. Assess the threats of physical, chemical and biological pollution of the biosphere and its impact on the environment and man, be able to analyze changes in the environment under the influence of natural and man-made factors. PR10. Assess the impact of industrial facilities on the environment, the impact of engineering on the environment and the associated responsibility for decisions, plan and conduct applied research on the impact of industrial facilities on the environment. PR11. Organize the disposal and disinfection of industrial and hazardous waste, assess the impact of industrial and hazardous waste on the environment. PR12. Introduce and use renewable energy sources and resource- and energy-saving technologies in the industrial and social spheres. PR13. Use in practice the knowledge of domestic and international environmental legislation. PR14. Design systems and technologies for environmental protection.

Environmental safety The program is designed to develop professional competencies and creative abilities of the student, able to systematically solve problems in the field of applied ecology, sustainable nature management and environmental safety, perform innovative work, make effective organizational and managerial decisions. Line 2. Environmental protection technologies This program focuses on the formation of professional competencies necessary for innovative research and production activities for the development and implementation of modern environmental technologies, and training students at a level that will entitle them to continue their studies to obtain higher qualifications and degrees.
