Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific program is based on well-known provisions and results of modern scientific research on the basics of environmental protection technologies, technologies for the protection of the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere, environmental safety and production technologies, modeling and forecasting of the state of the environment, normalization of anthropogenic load on the environment and focuses on current specializations within which a further professional and scientific career is possible.
Програмні результати навчання: PR1. Analyze complex systems, understand their relationships and organizational structure. PR2. Communicate freely in national and foreign languages orally and in writing on professional issues, in particular, for the presentation of research and innovation results. PR3. To use modern communication and computer technologies in the field of environmental protection, to collect, store, process and analyze information about the state of the environment and the production sphere in order to solve the tasks of professional activity. PR4. To justify decisions aimed at minimizing environmental risks of economic activity at the national, regional and local levels. PR5. To work effectively in a team and an international team, to have leadership skills. PR6. To carry out an analysis of the socio-economic and ecological state of enterprises, settlements, districts, regions and to develop strategies for their sustainable development. PR07. Develop environmental management systems in compliance with the requirements of ISO 14004, establish procedures and plan and implement environmental protection measures throughout the product life cycle. PR8. To design integrated waste management systems and ecological and economic aspects of their disposal, the basics of designing landfills for waste disposal, to assess their impact on the environment and people. PR9. To assess the threats of physical, chemical and biological pollution of the biosphere and its impact on the environment and man, to be able to analyze the changes occurring in the environment under the influence of natural and man-made factors.
