Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the course is to study the mathematical and physical foundations of navigation methods and systems; positioning methods, including satellite, inertial and image-based navigation, as well as integrated navigation; air navigation service of manned and unmanned aircraft flights; algorithms of operation of inertial navigation systems.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: INT. The ability to solve complex tasks of a research and/or innovative nature that arise in the process of research, design, production and operation of avionics systems. GC 3. Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level. professional competences: PC 7. The ability to use advanced technologies in the research and design of aircraft control systems, development of hardware and software-algorithmic means of increasing accuracy, reliability, survivability, resources of avionics systems functioning. PC 12. Ability to apply mathematical modeling methods for practical application in the design and research of aeronautical systems and their elements. PC 13. Ability to apply software tools of integrated air navigation systems in practical activities.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: KN 2. Knowledge of the structure, elements and functioning of on-board and ground pilotage and navigation complexes. KN 7. Knowledge of satellite navigation systems. KN 8. Knowledge of aeronautical systems, methods and means of their simulation. KN 10. Knowledge of software tools of integrated air navigation systems. SC 7. Develop and use microprocessor systems and software modeling tools to solve complex problems of avionics.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites – Microsystem avionics. Microsystem avionics (Course project) Aircraft control systems and their simulation. Corequisites - Information technologies of aerospace systems
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline involves the study of such basic topics. Study of mathematical and physical foundations of methods and systems of navigation. Methods of positioning, including satellite, inertial navigation. Aeronautical service of manned and unmanned aircraft flights. Algorithms of operation of inertial navigation systems. Methods of determining the orientation of the object relative to the inertial coordinate system. Algorithms of operation of platformless inertial navigation systems.
Опис: 1. Mathematical and physical foundations of navigation methods and systems. General characteristics and classification of navigation methods. Navigation problems and their modeling tools. 2. Positioning methods, including satellite, inertial and image-based navigation, as well as integrated navigation. Mathematical models of air navigation systems. 3. Aeronautical service of manned and unmanned aircraft flights. 4. Algorithms of operation of inertial navigation systems. Errors of air navigation systems and their analysis. 5. Algorithms of operation of platformless inertial navigation systems on angular velocity sensors. 6. Methods of determining the orientation of the object relative to the inertial coordinate system. 7. Algorithms of operation of platformless inertial navigation systems on gyroscopes. 8. Algorithms of work of accelerometric platformless inertial navigation systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of the level of achievement of learning outcomes is carried out by the following methods: - assessment of the level of readiness of students to perform laboratory work; - assessment of the ability to correctly perform laboratory work; - assessment of the correctness of the preparation of laboratory work reports; - assessment of knowledge during the defense of control papers; - selective surveys in the course of conducting lectures and laboratory classes; - assessment of knowledge based on the results of performing test tasks and control work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control: reports on laboratory work, oral survey - 30 points. Control work - 30 points. Test control - 40 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
