Credits: 2.00
Department: Radioelectronic Appliances and Systems
Lecturer: Bachyk Dariya Romanivna
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: Knowledge of methods and means of project management of creation and certification of aviation information systems and complexes Knowledge of the structure, elements and functioning of on-board and ground pilotage and navigation systems Knowledge of software tools of integrated air navigation systems Ability to develop and use software tools of integrated air navigation systems
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: 1. Basics of navigation and pilotage and navigation complexes. 2. Fundamentals of radar. Associated and following academic disciplines: 1. On-board and ground pilotage and navigation complexes. 2. Satellite navigation systems.
Summary of the subject: When completing the course work, the student considers in detail the issue of developing a pilot's decision support system. In order to find a conflict-free trajectory of an aircraft, the computer system assumes the implementation of an algorithm for resolving conflict situations based on the energy-potential method. The input information for the conflict resolution algorithm is the coordinates, true course, cruising speed of one's own aircraft and flight parameters of other aircraft participating in air traffic. The flight parameters of your own aircraft come from the inertial navigation system, the air signal system, the satellite navigation system, and the heading system. Traffic parameters of other aircraft in the airspace are received from the ADS-B receiver. Students learn to simulate the operation of the information interface of the pilot's decision support system based on the resolution of multiple conflicts with different numbers of aircraft.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of monitoring the results of student learning, which are used: a) in the process of ongoing control - in the form of a teacher checking parts of the course work in accordance with the description of the stages of the course work; b) in the process of semester control – checking the explanatory note (written component) and conducting an additional oral survey (oral component).
