Learning outcomes: To know: - basic information about discrete-continuous stochastic systems; - traditional technology for developing a model of the object of study in the form of a discrete-continuous stochastic system; have an understanding of the problems that accompany it; - approaches to the problem of forming expressions for determining the time-probabilistic indicators of the effectiveness of research objects; - advanced technology for developing models of research objects in the form of a discrete-continuous stochastic system: concept, procedure for forming a verbal model, methods of developing structural-automatic models; - approaches, models and methods of structural design of telecommunication networks; - models and methods of analysis of operational functional and reliable behavior of telecommunication systems and networks. Be able to: - determine the correspondence of the behavior of the object of study to a discrete-continuous stochastic system; - to form a verbal model of the object of study (design); - to develop a structural-automatic model of the object of study (design); - to use software stochastic models of operational functional and reliable behavior of research objects; - to use the method of analysis of mesh structures; - use the method of optimizing the composition of the structure according to the criterion of minimum cost under given constraints on throughput and reliability; - to form a mathematical model of the "behavior" of the object of design (research) in the form of a discrete-continuous stochastic system; - choose performance indicators for various tasks of system engineering design of software and hardware systems and compose formulas for their determination.
Required prior and related subjects: Higher mathematics: sections "Probability theory" and "Fundamentals of the theory of random processes". Technology of modeling algorithms of behavior of software and hardware systems: Application of information technology of behavior modeling to the development of stochastic models of operational reliable behavior of fault-tolerant systems and functional behavior of adaptive software and hardware systems.
