Learning outcomes: GLO 1. Implement production and technology modernization projects in the field of electronics, introduction of the latest information, communication and multimedia technologies. GLO 7. Carry out informational and scientific research using scientific, technical and reference literature, databases and knowledge, other sources of information; critically interpret and interpret available knowledge and data, form directions of research and development taking into account domestic and foreign experience. GLO 8. Carry out and coordinate the development, selection, use and modernization of the necessary equipment, tools and methods in the organization of the production process, taking into account technical and technological capabilities, modern science-intensive methods, means and technical solutions. GLO 10. Choose optimal research methods, modify, adapt and develop new methods. GLO 12. Summarize modern scientific knowledge in the field of electronics and apply it to solve complex scientific and technical problems, bring the obtained solutions to the level of competitive developments, implement the results in business projects. COM 2. The ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. А&R 2. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge. А&R 3. Summary of the subject: Structure and types of ADS support Principles of a system approach to the ADS design process. The main types of automated systems. CAD/CAM/CAE systems. CASE/CALS systems. Logistics systems. Systems such as ERP, MRP, SCM, CRM, MES and SCADA. ADS technical support. ADS software. ADS information support. Linguistic support of ADS. Methodology of automated design of electronic devices. P-CAD system for designing printed components of electronic equipment. Application of artificial intelligence methods for designing electronic devices. (Classification of intelligent information systems. Systems with an intelligent interface. Self-learning systems. Expert systems.) VIS topological design subsystem. VIS verification subsystem.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control (40%): performance of laboratory work (20%), performance of practical work (20%); final control (60%): written exam component (40%), oral component (20%).

Summary of the subject: The course project is devoted to the study of automated design in relation to modern information technologies, terminology in the field of information technologies and methods of modeling technical systems. The main methods of system analysis are taught, which allow to classify and formalize most of the terms and concepts of the object "technical system" and the mathematical models themselves, the modeling of technical systems, which was used in both scientific and engineering practice. Stages of course project implementation: 1. Familiarization with the task, the methodology of the course project (term paper) and clarification of the task option. 2. Development of a structural diagram of the automated device design process. 3. Development of a functional scheme of an electronic device. 4. Designing individual nodes of the device in the Proteus software environment. 5. Checking the performance of nodes using a software simulator. 6. Optimization of element parameters according to simulation results. 7. Designing the printed circuit board of the device. 8. Protection of term paper.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control in the form of inspection by the teacher of parts of the course project in accordance with the description of the stages of the course project. 2. Final control in the form of defense of the course project. • Current control - 40%. • Checking the text and graphics of the course project - 20%. • Defense of the course project - 40%.
