Learning outcomes: Systematized knowledge of the discipline: principles of creation, structure and basic tactical and technical parameters of the ground segment and onboard equipment of radiotelemetry systems. Similarities and differences of systems with frequency and time division of channels: types of modulation, selection of synchronous markers. Analog and digital methods of data transfer: their errors, noise immunity. IRIG-106, CCSDS standards, batch technologies, high-stability coding, decoding algorithms.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Physics, Higher Mathematics, Informatics in Avionics, Fundamentals of Programming. Co-requisites: Avionics Tools and Systems Design, Microprocessors and Microprocessor Systems in Avionics, Fundamentals of Circuit Theory, information and Information-Measuring Systems of Avionics, Aeronautical Telecommunication Networks.
Summary of the subject: Standards and current state of development of radiotelemetry. Composition, basic parameters and types of modulation in radiotelemetric systems with frequency and time division of data transmission channels; synchronization and selection of synchronous markers; analog and digital transmission methods, quality indicators and noise immunity. Telemetry IRIG-106, CCSDS standards, packet technologies, noise-tolerant coding and telemetry data decoding algorithms.
Assessment methods and criteria: The current control during the laboratory works (30%); Examination control: control procedure - written and verbal part (70%)
