Learning outcomes: As a result of the study of the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. Execute actions on matrices and vectors; find solutions to systems of linear algebraic equations; recognize the types of lines and be able to depict them in the Cartesian coordinate system 2. Calculate the limits of a function and investigate the continuity of function. 3. Find derivative functions of one variable. 4. Find indefinite integrals. Calculate and use definite integrals. 5. To find partial derivatives of functions of many variables and to investigate the functions of many variables on the extremum. Learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following programmatic learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of mathematical analysis in radio engineering in the development of new complex radio engineering devices and telecommunication systems and the choice of optimal solution; 2. Finding basic information about the means of design and technological processes for the creation of telecommunication and radio engineering facilities; 3. Use of the acquired knowledge for rational use of natural and technical conditions during production activity; 4. Application of physical and mathematical apparatus for the analysis of processes in telecommunication and radio engineering devices and systems; 5. Application of mathematical knowledge in the process of solving professional problems, constructing mathematical models; 6. Application of special knowledge in mathematics and modern information technologies in solving professional problems; 7. Summarize the results and formulate the conclusions of the conducted researches for the purpose of their publication in professional editions.
Required prior and related subjects: - General Mathematics. School level; - Calculus; - Physics; - Linear algebra and analytic geometry.
Summary of the subject: The academic discipline consists of two sections "Matrices and determinants", "Systems of linear equations", "Elements of vector algebra", "Analytic geometry on a plane", "Differential and integral calculus of a single variable" and "Numerical and functional series". The first section deals with the following topics: (a) Functions of one variable, (b) Limits. Investigations on the continuity of the function, (c) Computation of derivatives and full investigation of functions, (d) Finding uncertain integrals, (e) Calculating definite integrals and their applications. The second section consists of the topics: (a) Sufficient tests of convergence of numerical series, (b) Fields of convergence of power series, (c) Trigonometric of series Fouriers.
Assessment methods and criteria: Student knowledge testing is carried out by means of oral questioning in practical classes, control and independent work in the virtual of learning environment, the terminologicals of dictations, individual calculation and graphic works. Current control - 30 points; Examination Control - 70 points; Total for discipline - 100 points.
