Learning outcomes: By the end of the study, learners are expected to be able to: - Know the basics of physical processes in the human body different nature on macro and micro levels; - Be able to develop restricted models of biological objects and estimate its interaction with medical instruments.

Summary of the subject: Physical processes in the body. The basic conservation laws and models biomechanics. The mechanical properties of biological tissues. The mechanical impedance surface areas of the body. Properties and current bioliquids. Blood circulation in the body. Distribution of pressure fluctuations in the human circulatory system. The transmission pulse vibrations on the surface of the body. Physics human ear. Characteristics of auditory perception. Audiometry. Biomechanics of muscle contraction. Thermodynamics Savka. Physical processes in biological membranes. The electrical properties of the tissues of the human body. Electrical impedance of the human body. Magnetic properties of the tissues of the human body. Electromagnetic oscillations and waves. Interaction of optical radiation with biological objects. Interaction of ionizing radiation with biological objects.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (40%): oral examination, evaluating the results of solution of problems of tests and seminars; - final control (60%): test, oral examination
