Мета вивчення дисципліни: Gaining general knowledge of the functioning mechanisms of modern communication networks, acquisition of skills in using conceptual principles of network construction, acquisition of skills for solving real problems that arise during the operation and modernization of existing networks
Завдання: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge of the standards and normative documents of the State Committee for Communications and Informatization of Ukraine for the maintenance and construction of networks; 2. Knowledge of the characteristics and technologies of the Global Information Infrastructure (GII), including the industrial, structural and functional implementation model; 3. The ability to use the conceptual principles of network construction during the creation and optimization of modern telecommunication and information networks; 4. The ability to ensure reliability, security and scalability of the network; 5. Ability to analyze the processes of functioning of networks and network subsystems; 6. Ability to solve network problems using optimization methods; 7. Ability to orientate in global processes of development of information structures; 8. The ability to effectively use the acquired knowledge to solve specialized tasks and practical problems of GII. 9. The ability to carry out a scientific search for information in various sources to solve the problems formed by GII. The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: • The ability to learn, to perceive the acquired knowledge in the subject area and to integrate it with the existing knowledge; • Ability to generate new ideas, show creativity and system thinking; • Ability to search and analyze information from various sources; • Acquisition of a flexible way of thinking, which makes it possible to understand and solve problems and tasks, while maintaining a critical attitude to established scientific concepts; • Ability to effectively use various theories in practice; • The ability to solve tasks and make appropriate informed decisions; • The ability to conduct research at an appropriate level, to have research skills that are manifested in the ability to form (by making presentations or presenting reports) new products in the chosen field, to choose the appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their implementation, taking into account the available resources; • Ability to work independently and in a team; • Ability to communicate effectively on professional and social levels; • The ability to think abstractly, the ability to analyze and synthesize, which allows you to formulate conclusions (diagnosis) for various types of problems, plan, analyze, control and evaluate one's own work and the work of others; • Project development and management skills to ensure a high level of efficiency in the implementation of various types of projects in the subject area. professional: • In-depth knowledge of standards and regulatory documents of the State Committee for Communications and Informatization of Ukraine; • Ability to navigate global processes of development of information infrastructures, integration of Ukraine into the World Information Community; • Ability to develop and optimize models of telecommunication information networks of the National Information Infrastructure of Ukraine; • Ability to design new, modernize existing networks; • Ability to ensure the organization of technical operation, including planning of production activities of the enterprise, execution of technological works, administration of networks; • Ability to develop the architecture and scenarios of GII and use them in practice to create a promising network in accordance with the provisions of the Informatization Program of Ukraine
Learning outcomes: • Know and understand operation and technology of GII; • Be able to make design specifications, requirements, applications and other documents; • Know the modern innovative technologies in the field of GII; • Be able to perform profiles research of different network architectures interaction and technologies of GII; • Be able to create a perspective network according to the Program for Informatization of Ukraine; • Be able to use the acquired knowledge of architecture and GII scenarios in practice.
Required prior and related subjects: • Communication networks, Part 1, Part 2; • Theory of implementation and protocols for infocommunication networks; • Distributed service systems and cloud technologies • Planning and design of Telecommunication networks.

Опис: The discipline is dedicated to: - study of the basic principles of construction and technologies of the Global Information Infrastructure; - development and optimization of models of telecommunication and information networks of the National Information Infrastructure of Ukraine; - design of new and modernization of existing networks. Topics: 1. Global information infrastructure (GII). European information infrastructure. Goals, tasks, deadlines. 2. Prospectus of standards (atlas of technologies) of GII. Attributes. 3. Global information infrastructure – General (ITU-T Y.110) Principles and approaches to the formation of Global Infrastructure 4. Global information infrastructure – General Information communication architecture (part 1) 5. Global information infrastructure – General Information communication architecture (part 2) 6. Features of construction and operation of cloud networks 7. Features of the construction and operation of software-controlled networks (SDN) 8. Principles of operation and integration of Google GII
Assessment methods and criteria: Defense of practical works in the form of a survey based on completed reports. Examination control (written component – extended answers to questions, oral component – survey based on the list of questions to be studied and submitted for semester control.)

Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the course work is to deepen the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the study of theoretical and practical courses by analyzing and calculating the elements of the heterogeneous network infrastructure.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: INT The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of telecommunications, radio electronics and electronic engineering or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of designing telecommunications software platforms and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. ZK3. The ability to formulate or reveal the essence of a scientific or practical problem in the professional sphere, to find adequate ways to solve it; ZK4. The ability to generate new ideas and non-standard approaches to their implementation (creativity); ZK13. Ability and ability to adapt and work in new situations professional competences: FC2. Knowledge of theories and methods of designing modern telecommunication systems and networks FC8. Knowledge of basic specifications and regulatory documents for the design and operation of radio engineering and telecommunication systems and their elements FC9. Summary of the subject: The course work is designed to form and develop skills and abilities to design and develop distributed information systems. The explanatory note to the course work should contain textual and illustrative material. The project implementation period is one semester (16 weeks). The standard time allocated to a student to perform the work is 60 hours.
Опис: The discipline is devoted to: - studying the basic principles of construction and technologies of information communication networks; - building the structure of a heterogeneous network; - creation of access of the existing network to Сloud; - analysis and calculation of network infrastructure elements.
