Learning outcomes: PH02. Have the specialized skills/problem-solving skills necessary to conduct research and/or conduct innovative activities in the field of architecture and urban planning in order to develop new knowledge and procedures. PH08. Organize work on complex architectural and urban planning projects, cooperation with customers and the public in the development, coordination and public discussion of architectural projects; it is understandable to convey one's own conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists. PH10. Discuss the results of professional activities, research and innovative projects in the field of architecture and urban planning in national and foreign languages orally and in writing.

Summary of the subject: The content of the optional discipline contributes to the strengthening of interest in the profession, motivates constant creative growth and self-development, allows you to realize the acquired experience and outline the prospects for self-realization in the professional environment, orients the further professional development of future specialists in design, scientific and pedagogical, creative and other areas of professional activity. Acquaintance with the basics of architectural pedagogy and the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process of educational institutions of various types is provided; legislative framework of continuous education, educational standards, types of pedagogical activity, methods of practical work. Issues of modern educational innovations, methods of conducting theoretical and practical classes, organization of independent and research work, self-study in various directions are considered. Studying the discipline allows you to master the basics of professional communication in the field of architecture, to test the methods of gathering and structuring information, to design ways of productive application of the acquired knowledge and skills in the independent preparation of presentations. In practical classes, students study the methods of preparing and conducting presentations, creating interviews, reporting. compiling a personal portfolio, looking for creative methods of visualizing a conceptual idea. Individual tasks provide an opportunity to explore various areas of self-realization in the profession and try yourself in various areas of the architect's creative work: Based on the results of independent research, students are invited to complete and present for discussion a model of their own area of professional activity. It is important for a modern architect to approach any problem creatively, to be able to generate creative ideas and develop original design solutions, to be able to present one's own achievements, to build one's own strategy for professional growth; be ready to find your place in the labor market.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting an oral survey in practical classes, assessing activity in classes, checking individual tasks, evaluating the student's presentation-speech, participation in the discussion. Final control: checking the control work, differentiated assessment
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Task 1. Professional development of a specialist: completeness and clarity of disclosure of the topic; systematic approach to the problem; the informativeness of the graphic scheme. Task 2. Model of professional activity (presentation): completeness and visibility of the disclosure of the topic; expediency of the chosen methods; the nature of the oral presentation.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
