Learning outcomes: PRN 1 To have knowledge of the basic concepts, terms and meanings, the language of professional communication in the field of architecture and urban planning, to observe the norms of academic integrity. PRN 2 Apply software tools, modern IT technologies, information resources in the process of solving research and design architectural and urban planning tasks. PRN 6 To understand the social role of architectural activity, to assume responsibility for the effectiveness and consequences of decision-making in the field of architecture and urban planning in compliance with the basics of professional ethics. PRN 11. To achieve the completion of all stages and stages of architectural and urban planning, the development of all sections of the complex project and the explanatory note within the set deadline. PRN 14 Conduct research and/or innovative activities, apply traditional and innovative methods of designing and conducting research. PRN 15 Determine the stages and directions of the historical development of architectural phenomena, critically evaluate, investigate trends and processes in architectural theory and practice, reconstruction and renovation of architectural and urban planning objects. PRN 16 To develop theoretical, typological approaches to solving the problems of the formation and development of the architectural and urban planning environment based on the systematization of natural, humanitarian and technical sciences data.

Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the discipline "Comprehensive study of an architectural and urban planning object", students of the second educational level master the types and peculiarities of the organization of scientific research in the field of architecture, its methodological principles and methods, the technology of planning research activities. During practical classes, master's students develop the ability to organize their own research work, the ability to independently select adequate methods, build scientific hypotheses and models, carry out successive stages of research, generalization and presentation of results. The content of the discipline is developed on the basis of the relevant requirements for the preparation of masters of architecture and urban planning for the implementation of innovative scientific research in the theory of architecture, for teaching work in the specialty, for the development of the architectural part of complex projects of various purposes, for work in the field of management at the level of districts and cities. The discipline reveals the main forms and methods of scientific analysis, provides a personal vision and understanding of the theoretical and methodological principles of architecture, which determine the independence of scientific research and the successful completion of the master's qualification work.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting an oral survey in practical classes, evaluating activity in classes, checking individual tasks, evaluating the student's performance, participating in the discussion. Final control: checking the control work, differentiated assessment.
