Learning outcomes: PRN 1 To have knowledge of basic concepts, terms and meanings, the language of professional communication in the field of architecture and urban planning, to adhere to the norms of academic integrity. PRN 3 To organize and carry out effective communications within the team, to combine independent and collective work on complex architectural and town-planning projects. PRN 6 Understand the social role of architectural activities, provide responsibility for the effectiveness and consequences of decision-making in the field of architecture and urban planning in compliance with the basics of professional ethics. PRN 14 Carry out research and / or innovation activities, apply traditional and innovative methods of designing and conducting research. PRN 15 Identify stages and directions of historical development of architectural phenomena, critically evaluate, study trends and processes in architectural theory and practice, reconstruction and renovation of architectural and urban planning objects, interior design. PRN 16 To develop theoretical, typological approaches to solving problems of formation and development of architectural and urban planning environment on the basis of systematization of data of natural, humanities and technical sciences.

Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the discipline "Spatial approach to substantiation of architectural decisions" applicants of the second level of higher education - Master of Architecture and Urban Planning, master the necessary knowledge about the role and place of architectural science in the formation of architectural space, as well as the impact of this space modern methodological and theoretical tools for understanding spatial architectural and urban planning phenomena, learn to identify optimal architectural and design solutions, master the features of the organization of research activities in the field of architecture.During practical classes, master's students develop the ability to organize their research activities, the ability to independently identify architectural and spatial problems and find their optimal solutions, interact in a group with their colleagues and, carrying out successive stages of research, formulate scientific concepts, logically summarize the results and clearly formulate their conclusions and suggestions with graphical visualization of research results. The content of the discipline is developed on the basis of relevant requirements for the preparation of masters of architecture and urban planning to perform innovative research in the theory of architecture, for teaching in the specialty, for developing architectural research complex projects for various purposes, for work in management at the district and city levels. Considerable attention is paid to the terminological basis of architectural science. The discipline reveals the basic forms and methods of scientific analysis, provides a personal vision and understanding of the theoretical and methodological foundations of architecture, which determine the independent research activities.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting a sample oral interview in practical classes, assessment of activity in classes, checking practical tasks, assessing the presentation of the student, participation in the discussion. Evaluation of the performed calculation and graphic work. The grade is the sum of the points scored by the student for the current work during the semester. Final control: test control in VNS NULP, differentiated test.

Summary of the subject: The discipline studies the principles and methods of working with modern software for working with architectural and urban planning objects of different types and different hierarchical levels. The functional capabilities and differences of the software for conducting architectural and urban planning activities are studied. The practical classes develop skills in working with a variety of software and ways to use it in the actual design of architectural and urban planning objects. Content of individual control work: Infographics; Conceptual schemes; Elaboration of the thematic map of the demography of the district with the use of GIS technologies; Alignment of facades with an insert of the designed house; Insert a 3D model of the house into the environment; Visualization of the "white model" using global lighting and artificial light sources; Realistic interior visualization; Stylized visualization of the urban planning object; Tasks of the student's choice (agreed on practical classes).
Assessment methods and criteria: Control work (100%): an album that consists of completed graphic tasks during the semester.

Summary of the subject: Discipline "Technologies in the restoration of buildings and their artistic design" is based on the following sections - diagnostics of the monument, emergency and conservation measures, the first stage of conservation work, priority strengthening and consolidation of unstable areas, biocidal measures, removal of pollution with weak physical properties aggressive contamination, salinization, anchoring, gluing, injection of cracks, remediation, addition of lost elements and parts. The study of the discipline is a consistent teaching of a theoretical course with a parallel conduct of practical classes with elements of the experiment.
