Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the specialist must: understand: - the purpose and place of the course "Phytodesign" in the general system of professional training of designers; general content of methods and basic principles of using elements of plant design and the ability to apply them to solve specific problems. know: - basic methods and principles of combining plants and objects both in interior design and in the design of garden and park complexes; be able to: - independently apply the acquired knowledge in this discipline in course design and in the design of real objects.

Summary of the subject: The Phytodesign course is an integral part of training a qualified, competitive designer. The lecture course involves the study of the basic principles of formation of plant compositions and their practical application. For a better understanding of the principles and principles of modern phytodesign, an excursion into the history of formation and development. Phytodesign, the art of arranging flowers and other plant elements in a variety of compositions (bouquets, bundles, wreaths, garlands, jewelry). This art has long been known and developed in two directions: decorative (especially in Europe) and symbolic (especially in Asia, especially in Japan - ikebana). The lecture course "Phytodesign" is designed for one semester and aims to acquaint students of the basic direction "Art" with the theory and practice of using elements of plant design in design.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester the student can score 100 points (20 points - writing an abstract (so-called research work) on the selected and approved topic, 20 points - multimedia presentation on the topic, 10 points - speech-defense, 40 points - for performance course graphic work, 10 points - defense of work on the test).
