Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must know the basic concepts and terms related to the architectural design of public buildings and structures; basics of classification of public buildings and structures and basic principles of their design; theoretical bases and principles of designing public buildings and structures; basic requirements for the design of public buildings and structures. Master the method of architectural design of public buildings and structures; have the basic ways of presenting and presenting an architectural sketch of a public building. Be able to choose the right rational architectural and planning decisions depending on the type of public building. Clearly and professionally apply and use the knowledge acquired in lectures and practical classes in the educational course design of public buildings. Be guided by the general concepts and rules of regulatory and technical base of public buildings and structures for their further application in real architectural design.

Summary of the subject: The lecture course includes 13 topics for 26 academic hours. The course is designed for second-year students who have been mastering the process of architectural design of a public object in a real environment since the fourth semester. The subject of the course involves the study of the theoretical foundations of typology as a science, analysis of the formation of public buildings and structures and current trends in the design of basic types of public buildings and structures. Study of factors influencing the formation of the typology of public buildings and structures. Study of bases of classification of public buildings and constructions and town-planning bases of designing of public buildings and constructions. The structural units of public buildings and structures and fire safety standards for the design of public buildings and structures are studied in detail. The lectures include the study of certain types of public buildings and structures such as children's preschools, schools, sports and fitness facilities, medical facilities, shops, entertainment venues and buildings, religious institutions, catering establishments, bank buildings, hotels. Requirements for adaptation of public buildings and structures for the needs of low-mobility groups and people with disabilities are considered. The purpose of teaching the discipline - to teach a second-year student the basics of designing public buildings and structures, to master systematic design methods from traditional to modern, analyze and synthesize knowledge with their further application in the design of various types of public buildings and structures; to think systematically when solving practical problems in the process of architectural design.

Learning outcomes: 1. Knowledge of the typology and specifics of office facilities, their role and purpose in modern society. 2. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the holistic solution principles of the architectural environment of the city, the ability to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the site; ability to develop a master plan of the site taking into account urban planning restrictions and transport situation. 3. Ability to develop the architectural composition and functional structure of office facilities, taking into account environmental factors, requirements and needs of potential users, taking into account the specifics of office buildings and regulatory requirements. 4. Ability to model a three-dimensional image of office objects by means of manual and computer graphics, to draw plans, facades, sections with drawing dimensions.

Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline "Architectural design of public buildings and structures" for students majoring in "Architecture and Urban Planning", allows you to master the basic principles and methods of architectural design of office facilities in a logical sequence: pre-project analysis; development of design concept, sketch, execution of drawings. Emphasis is placed on the importance of mastering independent skills development and presentation of the author's design solution. Considerable attention is paid to acquaintance with the history of development, typology and world trends in the architecture of office buildings, areas of integration of offices in the urban cultural and historical landscape. It is planned to carry out individual research activities in the study of world experience in designing offices with the presentation of results in a mini-report, a tour of the existing office center with elements of sociological research. The principles of three-dimensional solution of the office building-insert (with an area of ??not more than 2000 sq. M) are considered. taking into account town-planning restrictions, functional features, transport restrictions and norms of car parking. In practical classes, students master the specifics of the organization architectural space, depending on the functional structure and nature of office activities, develop the concept of interior design. The project task involves the development of sketch options and making the optimal compositional solution; modeling and depiction of architectural structures in different spatial angles and scales; expressive presentation and defense of the project proposal.
