Мета вивчення дисципліни: The study discipline "Designing interiors, part 3" is one of the selective disciplines of professional training of students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, majoring in "Design". The lecture course introduces students to the interior design of transport infrastructure facilities, cultural and artistic centers, business centers, administrative buildings, sports complexes, children's entertainment centers, buildings of higher education institutions, as well as the revitalization of post-industrial areas, etc. The purpose of the practical task is the formation of a complex and integral image of the subject-spatial environment of large objects of transport infrastructure (airports, railway stations and bus stations), which has a great ideological, artistic-aesthetic, cultural influence on people, association with the state that hosts official delegations , tourists and large passenger flows of own citizens.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of design, or in the learning process, which involves the application of certain design theories and methods and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions. The ability to conduct pre-project studies and analyze project solution analogues. The ability to develop several options for conceptual solutions of objects of the subject-spatial environment. The ability to develop the design of the environment of object-spatial complexes for buildings and structures. The ability to take into account the needs of all categories of consumers and apply a comprehensive approach to design when creating objects of the subject-spatial environment.
Learning outcomes: PRNV1.1. To understand the importance and meaning of pre-design studies, analysis of analogues of design solutions and to be able to use the obtained results in design. PRNV1.2. To be able to use normative and reference literature when designing a subject-spatial environment. PRNV 1.3 Orientate yourself in a variety of modern software and hardware tools, use knowledge and skills of working with professional computer support. PRNV1.4. Apply a complex artistic and design approach to create a holistic image of the subject-spatial environment. PRNV1.5. Solve functional tasks taking into account the properties of materials and structural constructions, apply the latest technologies in the creation of a modern design product. PRNV1.8. Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding of the subject branches and spheres of professional activity in practical situations during the execution of working drawings and accompanying technical documentation, as well as during the presentation of finished projects. KOM1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); KOM2. The ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. AiV1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions. AiV2. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired new professional knowledge. AiV3. The ability to take responsibility for the work being performed, make decisions independently, and achieve the set goal compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. AiV4. The ability to popularize national and world cultural heritage, as well as to promote manifestations of patriotism, national self-awareness and ethnocultural self-identification. AiV5. The ability to form environmental consciousness and personal culture, to apply ecological principles in life and professional activity.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous and related academic disciplines: Interior design, part 2 Material science in interior design Basics of ergonomics The following academic disciplines: Theory and methodology in subject environment design Interior design, part 3 (CP)
Summary of the subject: The course "Designing interiors, part 3" is designed for one semester of study and covers 120 hours. and structurally includes two parts - theoretical and practical. The study of the proposed course requires a creative approach from students, focuses on the independent search for the performance of stylistic tasks, requires them to study additional scientific and regulatory literature. The theoretical part of the course is aimed at highlighting information about the formation of the interior design of large public buildings, in particular transport infrastructure objects, sports complexes, movie concert halls, expo centers, television centers, educational institutions, etc. Practical work is aimed at developing a creative interior design of a landmark object of the transport infrastructure of large cities of Ukraine, namely the lobby group and the waiting room of an airport, railway station or bus station. The use of national symbols, colors, and ornaments in interior design, in particular in small architectural forms, sculpture, and decorative materials, will become a means of accentuating the national features of a certain region, city, or country.
Опис: A lecture course on the discipline is a logically constructed, scientifically based and systematized presentation of the material, supported by visual aids and demonstration of illustrated material. During the teaching of the academic discipline, the student analyzes implemented design projects in domestic and international practice, critically analyzes them. Learns the basic methods and principles of working drawings, professional terminology used in the interior design process of large public buildings; methods of finding ideas that relate to the solution and implementation of a creative idea. The purpose of the lectures is to form the basis of students' knowledge in the field of interior design of public buildings, as well as to determine and outline the further direction, the main content of all types of practical classes and independent work of students during the semester. The purpose of the practical classes is to deepen, generalize and consolidate students' knowledge of the academic discipline "Designing interiors, part 3" and to apply them in solving a design task.
Assessment methods and criteria: The exam is a mandatory final form of control, which makes it possible to assess the mastery of the material from the academic discipline in lectures (by passing a test control at the National Academy of Sciences of the Lviv Polytechnic), the results of his practical work, during the semester and independent research work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: During the semester, a student can score 30 points for examination control (passing test control at the VNS of Lviv Polytechnic University), 60 points for practical work, 10 points for completing an independent scientific research task. The sum of grades received by the student for the specified types of completed academic work constitutes the final semester grade.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
