Required prior and related subjects: Accompanying and subsequent academic disciplines: Composition and shaping in design, part 1, part 2; History of art, architecture and design, part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5; Fundamentals of design and computer graphics (KP), part 1, part 2; Painting, drawing, sculpture, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7; Conceptual design (KP); Multimedia design; 3D modeling
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Part 1" is a component of the educational and professional program "Environmental Design". The subject of theoretical and practical provisions that reveal the basic regularities of the process of drawing and painting are consistently laid down as the basis of the discipline. The course structurally includes practical and theoretical parts. The basics of painting and drawing are studied on still lifes, the training sets are distributed in a certain methodical sequence according to the complexity of the task. The productions should be varied according to the nature of the program tasks. The main studies take place with natural side lighting. They include statements of volumetric-spatial (realistic) solution. Still lifes with a specific color scheme deserve special attention in the study of color palette (achromatic gamut, mixed gamut, Greek palette. In parallel with the study of color, attention is paid to the tonality of color spots, the light dominant in the composition of the picture is sought. Composition options, means, technical techniques, materials are chosen depending on the topic of the task and its duration. Studying the course orients students to the visual analytical and creative process and directs them to the independent search for ideas and solutions in practical tasks. All this with the ability to draw "from memory" and "from imagination" should influence the artistic thinking and the formation of the aesthetic sense of the student-designer, teaches him to possess practical skills in order to convey his ideas and feelings in the future.
Опис: Laboratory classes - 120 hours. (full-time education), 36 hours. (external form of education). Name of works: 1. Linear - constructive drawing from geometric bodies. 2. Still life of simple geometric bodies on side lighting (achromatic scale, grisaille). 3. Drawing of a still life from geometric bodies with side lighting. 4. Still life of complex geometric bodies for side lighting (mixed gamma, polychromy). 5. Pattern of a cascading still life from complex geometric bodies and household objects. 6. Still life of household objects for side lighting (Greek palette, polychromy). 7. Still-life drawing from household items, draperies to convey the materiality of objects, side lighting. Independent work of students - 105 hours. (full-time education), 189 hours (external form of education). Name of works: 1. Drawings, sketches of simple geometric bodies relative to the horizon line. 2. Linear and constructive drawing of a complex geometric model. Tonal drawing of a complex geometric pattern with a falling shadow. 3. Pattern of a decorative still life from household items, draperies, decorative entourage elements for a combination of textures. 4. A copy of a classical still life of your choice (polychromy). 5. Etudes (sketches) of fresh flowers, leaves, tree branches (polychromy).
Assessment methods and criteria: Determination of the level of students' knowledge is carried out by current control classroom and independent student work. Evaluation of works by teachers leading classes in a group takes place after the end of each task. The assessment is a mandatory final form of control, which makes it possible to assess the systematic assimilation of the educational material from "Painting, drawing, sculpture, part 1" and reduced to the current forms of control. Evaluation of works takes place after the completion of each task. The credit score is assigned "automatically".
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: During the semester, a student can score 100 points for completing 12 tasks (7 classroom and 5 independent). The average score for the task is calculated as follows: sum the number of points for each of the tasks and divide by their number.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Constituent components of assessment of student work in the direction of "Drawing" 1) Compositional arrangement of the image on the paper plane and definition of the general nature of the forms. 2) Proportional relationship between forms and constructive-perspective relationship of main dimensions and volumes. 3) Prospective construction of forms and their components. Identifying degrees of tonal relationships associated with spatial placement and distance of forms from the light source. 4) Volume modeling with tone. Bringing all components to a whole perception, ensuring the relationship of tone and construction. 5) Bringing the drawing of all its components into a single integral composition by means of plastic and technical means. Constituent components of the assessment of student work in the direction "Painting". 1) Compositional location of the image on the format plane and determination of the general nature of the forms. 2) Proportional relationship between forms and constructive-perspective relationship of main dimensions and volumes. 3) Prospective construction of forms and their components. Identifying degrees of tonal relationships associated with spatial placement and distance of forms from the light source. 4) Volume modeling with tone. Bringing all color components to a single perception, ensuring the relationship of tone and design. 5) Bringing the color of all its components into a single integral color composition by means of plastic and technical means. Rating scale: 100-88 points - grade "A" ("excellent") 87-80 points - grade B ("very good") 79-71 points - grade C ("good") 70-61 points - grade D ("mediocre") 60-50 points - grade E ("satisfactory") 49-26 points - FX rating ("unsatisfactory" with the possibility of re-scoring) 25-00 points grade F ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory restudy)
